Screw on gpu stuck can't screw it out or in.

A couple of day ago my friends screwed out a screw right on top of the hdmi port on the gpu, and now I can't screw it out or back in. The other problem is that when I attempt to attach the gpu to the case I can't because the screw is in the way.
I've been stuck on this for day I would really appreciate the help.

Sounds like the screw could be stripped and won't be able to be used again. Try to back the screw out while applying pressure as you're trying to back it out.

Also, what the hell was your friend trying to accomplish.

that sucks. looks kind of stripped.
you could snip the top off with wire snips so the card'll fit flush but then may never get the rest of the screw out.
if you have an electric drill or strong electric screwdriver you can use a "removal" bit that digs into the stripped part. i've also been able to remove some stripped phillips heads with small flat-head tips. also can try pressing against the back of the screw with something while trying to unscrew it.

No use no matter how much pressure I put I can't seem to unscrew it I think I'll try using power tools don't have any woth me though ....

Don't use power tools.

Are you applying pressure away from the GPU at the same time as you're trying to unscrew it?

Yes I am the screw dosent want to move at all

In the third picture ull seen the case with some scratches on it I was thinking about cutting a hole for the screw that way I can connect the gpu easily
