Hi, my first time replacing my motherboard and I face a screw that is stuck in the corner (near graphics card). I can turn the screw and it also makes a popping sound every few turns but it never loosens!

Also my 24pin power connecter won't come off either... I pulled it and wiggled till my hands hurt but nothing. Please help!

Solution
1. The standoff came loose so it is rotating with the screw. At least it is one of the bottom ones so it is easy to access =)

2. Wiggle the 24 pin connector <-[]-> back and forth. It will come out in about 30 seconds to a minute.
1: the standoff has probably come loose. You may be able to get a pair of needlenosed pliers on it to hold it while you remove the screw.

2: Release the retaining clip first, its part of the white connector and latches down good to the other half.
