[SOLVED] Screws not fitting in radiator

I just got a new Corsair h100i rgb platinum cpu cooler and the screws that hold the radiator to the case don’t fit into the radiator. All the other screws worked fine.

Are the screws too wide, too thin, too long, too short?

Too wide. I can’t tell if they are too long or not because they won’t go in at all

The radiator comes with two types of screws, the long thin ones to install the fans on one side and and the short thick ones to install the radiator to the case on the opposite side.

The long thin ones went in fine. The others are too wide

I have installed a couple of H100i and the screws look like the ones on this video.

The screws look the exact same as the ones in the video but they won’t go in at all.

It could be some metal shavings left behind that won't allow the screws to go in.
Try to screws them before placing the radiator in the case.

I figured it out. I just needed to apply a little more force than I was comfortable with. The other screws went in way easier but at least I got them in
