Scripted Diagnostics Native Host has Stopped Working on Windows 10

Hi guys. I've been having this pop up randomly for the past 2 days. I still haven't experienced any downsides on my pc other than the occasional error message saying it's going to close itself, but i don't want to leave anything "unfixed". I tried troubleshooting my internet connection and network adapter and as soon as i click on that, the error message pops up and the troubleshoot stops.

I'm currently trying a command prompt as an administrator and running sfc / scannnow, but it stops at 44% and gives me the error message: "Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation". Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You may find it in your best interest to back up your critical content and then move forward with either
a| System restore(if the issue cropped up after a mandatory windows update) prior to the issue
b| Repair install with your updates intact
c| (Re)create your bootable USB installer and reinstall OS.

Speaking of internet issues, can you please pass on your full system's specs? Atheros/Qualcomm/Braodcomm/Killer networking wired&wireless adapters have been known to be problematic with Windows 10.
