Scroll Wheel Click Button strange activity?

I have a Corsair M40 and I have a problem with the scroll button. When I click my mouse button in games to use the camera, I come across a peculiar issue where the button only works with exceptional force. I used to be able to use it lightly but as of late, I have to force it to move, but then in moves fine...

You know... It's really weird, it started working almost immediatly after I posted this. But it does act the same outside. Not under warranty.
