Hey there, everyone!
As the title states, I've come across an odd issue where my SteelSeries Apex 7 keyboard's scroll wheel, located on the top right has been causing my PC's audio to mute and unmute at seemingly random intervals. At first, I did not initially suspect my keyboard as the culprit - thinking that perhaps it was my headset or speakers, but after some troubleshooting, I was able to fiddle with the scroll wheel and detect that the wheel would replicate the same issue. Sometimes just moving the wheel one tick forward or backwards will temporarily fix the audio spasm, but it's become far too annoying at this point.
I've initially suspected that maybe some dust or some sort got into it? However, I've been a little terrified to crack open the keyboard and fiddling around inside the guts of it in fear of messing up something else within the keyboard. Has anyone else come across this issue and or how to solve it? I'd really appreciate the help!
