I was customizing a Scud Hybrid controller and noticed the scuf grip option. All I would like to know is if the grip is worth the extra $15. Im short on money right now as I am a teen with no job, but I would have enough for the option without the grip. I could ask my parents for the extra $15 or do a job for them for it. But I would only do that if its worth it. It seems convenient but Im really not sure. If anybody with a scuf could let me know how it is that would help alot. And a general opinion about how the controller is too would be nice because Im still trying to convince my parents to let me get one. Thanks! 😀

well for this controller they add 4 back paddles that act as the front a,b,y,x. It lets u use the buttons without having to take your thumbs off of the analog sticks. it also adds a grip on the back so your palms dont sweat as much. It gives better analog sticks too and looks nicer.
You want to spend nearly 100 dollars or more on a console controller?

My advice is dont.
There is no benefit for getting a "custom" controller. It does the exact same things as the 20 dollar ones, feels exactly the same, and custom controllers have no "gaming edge" as many assume.

You mean like the 4 L&R trigger buttons on XBOX and PS controllers?

I really, don't see the advantage of that over just buying an XBOX1 or 360 controller and using it as is.

For true PC games, the controller will ALWAYS hinder you, for console type games that are on PC you won't need more than the already available buttons.

Are you already a professional gamer? if you aren't these seems like a needless expense.
