The Scythe websire lists it as incompatible due to heatpipe interference, I assume they mean the fanless cooling for the chipset. Has anyone had any luck using this combo?

I am in the process of an RMA with new egg for the same exact problem, I just bought it without making sure. It almost fits, oh well. Can anyone recommend a good HS or HSF for this MOBO?

Ok then, thanks for the info.

Sooo....I wonder if the Thermalright 120 Extreme or the Tuniq Tower will fit. I really want a high end CPU cooling solution like those without having to spend over $100 on watercooling 🙁

The thing that caused this not to fit was the heatpipes on the board hittin the heatpipes on the Cooler, the thermal right looks like it will have the same issue, but I think the tuniq tower will fit, I would double check if I were you. But the heatpipes look like they are a little taller and have more clearance.
