SD as Internal Storage?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that is currently running version 6.0.1 (aka Marshmallow). Everywhere that I've read so far says that, with Marshmallow, I should be able to format my 32 gb SD card as internal storage. Yet whenever I format the SD card, it only gives the option to make it portable. Is there something that I am doing wrong/ is this fixable? Thank you!

Could it be possible that you need to upgrade to a higher version of marshmallow that supports turning an sd card into internal storage? Maybe marshmallow 6.0.1 doesn't support it, maybe you need a higher android 6 firmware that supports it
