SD Card "Corruption"

Me and my Mom were working on a funeral tape for my Grandma, when her SD card containing most of our pictures decided to delete half of the pictures and rename all the folders to random characters. It also added a few random file types like .(insert random characters). Anyone got a fix?

If you have less than 2GB of photos lost, you can use this program which works usually:
http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/free-data-recovery-software.htm
It will recover your lost pictures, and maybe repair those who were renamed.

If there's more than 2GB, try ZAR:
http://www.z-a-recovery.com/download.aspx

Both will allow you to find the missing photos if your SD card is simply corrupted and not completely defective.

I already have tried different kinds of photo recovery programs, they both recovered about 2 files that I didn't already have. I tried PhotoRec and StelarPheonix

Sometimes the SD is too damaged...I've seen one that was totally irrecoverable, even though you could still copy to it...
