I bought a 64 GB SD card (micro with an adapter to full size). It doesn't work in my Toshiba Satellite L650-18C laptop (I can't format it), but it works in my cell phone.
The laptop manual says it supports that capacity, what could be the problem?

Etcher create whatever the image was.
If you can see what format the SD card is in it would help.
You might also take a look in your bios for a UEFI+Legacy setting or a way to override the boot. (often its the F11 key) to select the SD as the boot drive.

What are you using to create the bootable SD card and which OS are you attempting to install/run?
I'm using balenaEtcher to make a bootable Batocera SD card. I downloaded the image for it from the internet.
I have previously had success with an 8 GB image in a 8 GB pen drive. But now I'm trying a 64 GB image in a 64 GB card and I can't boot from it.
