sd card issues

I have a problem with my phone and SD card. When I insert the card into the sim/sd tray my phone freezes. But when I take it out the phone doesn't freeze. The card works on my other phones but not this 1. I recently tried to take out my sim card using a thin object. Could I have damaged the SD slot?

Hey bundyf. If the card is working fine with the other phones, then the problem is most likely connected to the phone itself. You could try if the same thing happens if you plug in a different SD card. I can't tell for sure if you've damaged the slot with the object you've used to get the SIM card out, but I doubt it as the SIM card is usually separated from the SD card slot. It might have become faulty on it's own. If it doesn't work with a different SD card, I'd recommend that you contact the phone manufacturer's customer support.
