Hello,

Im using Kingston 32 GB MicroSD Card in my Samsung Galaxy S7. Suddenly, the card stopped working. It isnt recognized in my phone anymore. What I want is to recover all my photos.

When I put it in my laptop slot, it shows the card in File explorer, but when trying to open, it says: Acces is Denied (it also has 0 MB).

I also tried many recovering programs but none of them could even recognize the sd card.

What should I do? Please help

How old is the memory card?
Sorry to say, but its very hard to recover data by yourself, if it isnt software issue, which it isnt, its hardware.
Cause the sd card has micro traces of copper and they as your SD card does read and write tend to break up at microscopic levels.
To recover data usually there is a PCB for specific type of SD card depending which "Type" of it is and person has to solder the connections to the specific pads which are very , very small.

Just to give you an idea how it looks like

Thank you for replying.

The card is old about 4 months. But why PC can recognize the card and phone cant?? So the only way to recover data is using PCB? As shown in the video, I also need those devices to recover it? Well, Im doomed...

You may try EaseUS if the software can read the data off the SD card, but Im quite unsure for any other ways of the recovery.
(Ps. I may be wrong saying that it may not be software issue, it may be just corrupted SD card only)

Try it.

Thank you for replying.

Yeah, like I said, I tried dozens of SD Card recovery programs, even EraseUS, the problem is that PC cant access the card so programs cant even recognize it. I tried via CMD "chkdsk" but it gives error "cannot open volume for direct access". When I go to diskmgmt.msc, it says for the SD Card "No Media"

So Im really out of options...
