SDelete would delete all my os?

Hi.
i need to delete all my data from chrome, firefox, explorer, steam, etc. because i going to sell my pc, so i need to delete all of the information storage about pass and thing like that. i read thar i can use SDelete for deleting o overwriting on those files. i dont wanna delete the game. i need to know if a use sdelete -z on both partions it will delte the OS too. ?

Solution
the recovery cd is the same as the recovery partition in windows, usually you don't need it as windows automatically creates one (esp for pre installed systems).
you can create a recovery cd then use the "recovery cd" to reset windows.

im using windows 8.1, but i dont have the CD, is the cd necessary to recovery windows 8.1?
