sdhdship.exe black screen error

When I try to launch sdhdship.exe, there's a copyright as well as developers screen and then... BAM! It goes into black screen, unresponsive.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit processor.

I tried finding the solutions relevant to this problem, but all I can see is the fixes for Sleeping Dogs game released on 2012 instead of the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, released on 2014.

Can you please help me?

When I tried to launch this game, there's a black screen right after copyright and developer's screen. I can only move the mouse around and when I try to launch the task manager by alt+ctrl+delete, it changes into white with no error.

Here's my system requirements:

Intel Core i5-480M
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit processor.

These are beyond the minimum requirements but less than the recommended. The link that Gagan sent me was different and did not match the topic that I was responding to.
