Seagate 1Tb external HDD

Hello, The disk spins constantly but is not recognised by windows 7. Worked ok until earlier today.

Any suggestions welcome!

Make sure your data cable is plugged in securely. It may have been jarred loose.

Try different ports, try on a different PC, try a different USB cable. Last resort, open the external case and plug the drive in the PC directly.

Does the drive show up in Device Manager? In Disk Management?

How does Microsoft's UVCView utility see the external drive?
