Seagate 2 TB Hard Drive not being recognized

Good day,

My hard drive is not being recognized. It says there is a code 10 driver error. I have tried a few suggestions from the net but nothing has helped thus far.It is less than a year old.The device appears under storage controllers and not disk drives.

Hi Ashton,

in those cases we recommend running SeaTools and check you drive on eventual errors. SeaTools should be able to see and test your drive even though the operating system does not!

In case the HDD might have issues, you can then check your remaining warranty HERE and contact our Customer Support with your SeaTools results. Since you mentioned the drive is less than a year old, we should be able to assist without any delays!
