Hi, my Expansion Drive of 7 months have all of a sudden started giving the error Unknown USB Device (Set Address Failed) when plugged into only in my PC USB 3.0 port, but works fine in USB 2.0 ports in my PC and USB 3.0 ports in other laptops. I have tried updating drivers, checking the BIOS if USB 3.0 is enabled or not. I tried plugging in my other seagate 1TB external HDD in 3.0 ports, it works just fine.

I can't find a solution to this. Can anyone please help?

Hi there Jacksparrow555,

You've done some really good troubleshooting.
What I can think of is: go to Device Manager, Uninstall the device -> unplug it -> reboot system -> plug it in again(USB 3.0 port) and wait to automatically install.

Hope this will help,
