Hello.
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H with BIOS version F18g
My backup USB drive only works properly when it is connected while Windows is logged in. When I try to boot up my PC with the drive connected and powered on my PC will freeze at the BIOS splash screen. It will not boot with the drive plugged in. When I attempt to connect the drive while in the BIOS menu the menu will immediately freeze.
This is what I have tried so far with no success:
1. Different USB ports
2. Disabling Legacy storage boot & switching to different UEFI boot option combinations in BIOS
