Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2tB or WD My Passport Ultra 2Tb

Hi ,
I bought the WD My passport Ultra 2Tb after reading lot of reviews online..Some say the Seagate one is better, some the WD.. so as I already had an old 1Tb Seagate, thought of buying the WD this time..

Now, I see that the WD backup software is not doing incremental backup's properly as in I see many new files missing from the backups.. ( did some search in these forum's and see that many other users also have this problem).. As my WD hdd can be returned currently I wanted to know if I should continue with the same and try to resolve the backup issue or return the same for a full refund and take a Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2tb instead ?

Seek advise.

bro just download wd back up softare newly and install it hope it will solve problem

Hi there Abhi2012,

I am really sorry that you are facing issues with WD SmartWare. Just as gigoe already mentioned, you can try uninstalling the SmartWare and install the latest version.(link below)
Another thing you can do is to get thelatest .Net installed.
If these two do not help, I would suggest you to contact WD's Tech Support. You can do so by phone or by e-mail.
