So recently my 2 TB Seagate External Hard Drive just pooped out of nowhere. My Xbox One no longer detects it, nor does my laptop. But it still powers on when plugged in but nothing after that. I checked Disk Management and it doesn't appear there. If I check the Device Manager on the Computer Manager tab, "Seagate BUP Slim SCSI Disk Device" appears under Disk Drives but I can't do anything with it. On Xbox, it just won't appear. I don't know what to do here and I don't want to have to spend anouther $90 for a new HDD after two months. I run on Win 10 btw.

Hi there GambolShoud,

Have you tried using a different cable? In case you haven't, you can do so. You can even attach it to another computer. If the drive is still not recognized by Disk Management, there's a chance that it has failed. Also, you will not be able to access it with software tools. You can try though: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

As the drive is just 2 months old, I believe you can just RMA it.
