With backup stuff like, there are 3 parts.
  1. Doing it
  2. Knowing what it "backed up"
  3. Knowing how to recover

"Acronis TrueImage" is probably an Image of the entire drive.
But you'll have to look in the manual and details of exactly what the version you have actually does.
And then discover how to recover that if/when you need it.

I have the latest upto date version of seagate Diskwizard. Its not the acronis version even though it says acronis.
I asked the question because I don't know exactly what it backed up.
Looks like the windows properties shows the file sizes without the Win10 OS.
The total backup file size looks like that includes the entire OS since it would have to replace it when it is restored.

Thats why I asked the question.

Its probably the Acronis tech, licensed by Seagate.

The user manual for it should tell you what it does, and how to recover.
