Seagate Baricuda 1tb 7200rpm, noise

Hi!

Just recently i bought this HDD, and now im starting to hear some grinding noises but they are not that much loud, when idle i can hear it also from time to time, but when i open up something or even some program that is on SDD not HDD or some game it grinds, is it kinda normal or my new hdd will die? Run all tests no single error came out. Help

Well - relocated sectors - 0, pending sectors 0.
As you can see - health of the drive is fine.

we also have a free diagnostic software called SeaTools which it may be a good idea to keep in your toolkit here.

Do you have the 1TB partitioned fully? If it is, then it is really strange that your disk is making those grinding noises. I have seen this happen before with unallocated space hard drives and failing R&W head. Would you be able to upload the sample of the grinding noise? I would definitely back up your drive if I was you.

So that grinding noise, which i havent heard for last 2h(strange) is actully just a normal thing and hdd is working ok. Tnx a lot.
