Seagate Barracuda 1TB initialize as MBR or GTP?

Solution
Hey there, Sajvinder.

Go with MBR. Unless the drive is more than 2TB in storage capacity, you shouldn't go with GPT.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions whatsoever.

Thanks any explanation for why I should go with MBR? Just so I know in future.

Well, actually this is a bit of personal preference of mine. Legacy versions of BIOS and older OS versions may have trouble with a GPT drive, that's why GPT is recommended for newer computers which support UEFI. I prefer to go with MBR because of the better compatibility. You could go with GPT if you want as well.
