hard drive's make noise when accessing data/reading/writing, some noticeably more than others, and, some 7200 RPM drives can be heard across the room if/when everything else is quiet..
I'd download/install/run GsmartControl /short test, and, if it passes, perhaps accept you are going to 'hear' that drive if it otherwise works ok, passes assorted tests.
