The other day my 1tb HDD stopped appearing in "my computer" and i was unable to access anything on the drive.
The drive still has physical moving parts so i believe its still working... however...
When i restarted my PC. I now get stuck at windows loading screen, it will not go beyond this screen.
I tried other sata cables. tried other sata ports on mobo.
when the HDD is unplugged. my SSD has windows and boots just fine without the HDD plugged in.
Tried plugging in drive and running safe mode. Doesnt work, gets to desktop with no icons and no start menu, keyboard and mouse stop working for some reason on safe mode.
Checked BIOS. I see HDD drive but i dont see name for it like i do for ADATA SSD card..
Does this mean the hard drive is broken. is there a fix?
