have a seagate central 2 TB network attached storage. it is connected via CAT 5 to a airport express. On my Early 2011 Mac Book Pro that is upgraded to Mavericks OS. When I access the network storage via finder some of my folders have a small "X" icon next to them. I tried to use "get info" to modify the permissions it would not allow me to. I am logged in as admin on the OS X machine and admin on the network attached storage drive. I tried to use the program BATCHMOD to forces permissions on the network storage and it didn't take the permissions. I am completely stumped on this one. The permissions are set to a level that I can't even read the folder. If some one could help me with my Seagate central that would be awesome!
