Question Seagate default files and test

When I plug in my new Seagate One Touch external hard drive to my PC these files are seen by default in the drive, screenshot

Q1. Can I copy and paste the default files to my PC, then format the Seagate One Touch external hard drive to NTFS then copy and paste the default files from PC to Seagate One Touch external hard drive?

Q2. Why does Seagate One Touch external hard drive will auto abort the Seatools 2 Minute [Extended Tests>2 Minute Generic Test] during halfway of the test? screenshot

Those files are only needed if you're going to use the built in Seagate backup thing.
Otherwise, not needed.
