Seagate drive security freeze locked

I have a older sata drive that I got for free after a ewaste pickup, problem is it is security freeze locked. I know it is security freeze since seatools says so. What are the limits and what can I do with this drive and how would I remove the lock. Also if you can tell me what security freeze lock is I would appreciate it.

You can take it apart and use the magnets for fridge magnets.

Windows , search for disk management . Delete volume (the hdd) . After it deleted , right click , create new simple volume ....tadaa . IF it WON'T let you do that , it's pretty much paperweight

You misunderstood. It is not encryption. I have tried DBAN and Seagate seatools to wipe it and seatools report it is security freeze locked.
