In my PC I have six hard-disks which are by default off, but can be turned on individually using hdd-switch.
I have x2 HGST x2HGST/WD x1Toshiba and x1Seagate HDDs.
Seagate disk doesn't wake up when I turn it on using HDD switch. I know it's HDD issue because on same SATA port other HDD brands work fine and in BIOS hot-swap feature is turned on.
In the past 10TB and 8TB Seagate HDDs didn't have this issue.
The only way to get it online is by restarting the PC, that's very inconvenient and I'm about to downgrade that HDD spot with 10TB HGST disk and use 16TB as backup HDD.
Unless someone maybe knows how to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

And the problem just began without any known changes to hardware or software - correct?

Or is the Seagate Exos HDD newly installed?

Any drive related errors being captured by Reliability History and/or Event Viewer?
