Good day!
I just bought a new SEAGATE EXOS X14 12TB ST12000NM0008 Enterprise HD and installed it in my Windows 7 Pro 64bit desktop PC.
The drive is recognized in the Disk management as 2 partitions 2048GB & 9128GB. The 2048GB partition I was able to create a simple volume and format it in NTFS just fine (F:). But the 9128GB partition is unallocated and does not allow me to create a new volume, format or merge it with the other part! The options remain grey! Is there something I'm doing wrong, is the HD defective or is it incompatible with Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit?!
Any help to solve this will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
