Seagate Expansion Portable 1TB ( USB 3.0 ) on Windows 8.1

Hi,


I've a problem with my Seagate Expansion Portable 1TB....
When i put the USB-Cable into my pc ( USB 3.0 ) then he is installing the required files for the driver, then he is showing F:/ parameter is incorrect or some files and folders are damaged or un-readable. And in Disk management he is showing a RAW Partition instead of a NTFS


I'm Trying ( on USB 2.0 ) to recover my files: Games, Music, Photo's, Movies And Documents but i think that i must reformat my External HDD........


Please Help Me...

Test the drive on a different system and see if it is better, the drive might be failing.

I have this tried with my father's pc with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, but the same result.

You need to use some RAW data recovery software.

It may be a good idea to test the drive after you recover the data stored on it.
