Hello,
I have a Lenovo with 6gb ram running windows 8
I just purchased a Seagate Expansion + 3tb stcp3000100 (external hard drive)
I plugged it in, quick formatted it, but it only shows 150gb capacity. I checked the disk management and there's only one partition for 150 gb.
My question is, how do I access the full 3TB? or at least more than the 150gb it's showing?

Thank you in advanced!

Hey echien.
Would you please paste a screenshot of your Disk Management (you can upload the image to imgur.com). Here's how to access Disk Management: How to access Disk Management in Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 to manage hard drives
I want to see if there's a partition with unallocated space which adds up to those 150GB which you are seeing and if the drive is GPT instead of MBR.
Perhaps you'll need to reformat your drive again, but using Disk Management instead of Quick Format.
