Question Seagate External Hard Drive Not Detected

My Seagate external drive can no longer be detected by my computer. Have uninstalled and reinstalled USB, gone through all options in Device Manager, looked through Disk Management and still nothing. There is power to the drive and I can hear the disk spinning, so I know it's being powered. Any ideas?

It could actually be dead. it happens.
USB cable can be faulty
Myself, i'd remove it from the box, and plug it directly into the computer (unless you have a laptop, then you probably can't)
