been thinking of purchasing
Seagate FireCuda 530, 2 TB
has excellent speeds which I like but your review says that SSD slows down once the cache is full until the write is finished or it disconnects
I have a Samsung T7 touch 1TB which I use for file transfers
transferred using USB-c 3.2 gen 2 I got 200-300 MB/s from SATA III and got 700 MB/s from internal Sabrient rocket 4 1TB which is better
Black Magic Disk Speed Test got 900 MB/s but Samsung says its a 10 GB/s connection
so thought about fitting 2cnd m2 SSD using
Seagate FireCuda 530, 2 TB
I usually transfer 300 GB folders from computer to Samsung T7 Touch
is there a better SSD or do they all suffer from slow down

that's just the way it is. Any modern TLC based SSD will slow down "once the cache is full" when files are copied INTO the SSD.
Then that cache is quite large for premium drives like FireCuda. Unless your application involves frequent transfer of large files INTO the SSD that exceeds the size of the drives cache, you won't see the "slow down" too often.
For that kind of niche applications, Samsung 970 PRO is still available with a premium price tag.
