Hi guys,

Long story short, I was rebuilding my PC (excluding motherboard + CPU) and I re-installed windows 10 onto my new Samsung Pro 990's 2tb, and also plugged back in my 2tb Seagate Firecuda. When I boot up my computer and look into file explorer my firecuda does not show up even though I have all the required plugs in their respective sockets. I have been using my Seagate hard drive for quite a number of years, so it's kind of odd that it isn't showing up this time around. Any ideas how to get it to show back up? Thanks.

My specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home
Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower Case
Motherboard: AORUS master Z590 Version F8a
CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT
CPU: Intel I9-10900KF 3.70Ghz
GPU: MSI GAMING X TRIO GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB
RAM: Team T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600
PSU: SeaSonic PRIME Ultra Titanium 1000 W 80+ Titanium
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4

[Do verify that I found the applicable User Manual.]

Double check drive connections in accordance with physically numbered Pages 30, 31, and 32.

For example:

"The availability of the SATA connectors may be affected by the type of device installed in the M.2 sockets. The M2P_SB connector shares bandwidth with the SATA3 1 connector. The M2M_SB connector shares bandwidth with the SATA3 4, 5 connectors. Refer to the following tables for details"

That is indeed the manual for my mobo. I also reviewed the pages you pointed out for me, thanks for that. As for understanding what I read, I'm a bit clueless on what it means by M2A_CPU, M2P_SB, and M2M_SB. I'm guessing I should prob try a different port out of the possible 6 slots maybe?

If you're using the bottom M.2 slot (M2M_SB), you can't use SATA ports 3_4 and 3_5.

I can safely say that the problem has resolved. Thanks to Ralston for the manual for the Mobo and Hotaru for the clarification. I would say both solved my issue but I don't think that's a possibility nor do I see the button to do that now. If anyone else has the same issue with the same mobo as me, just simply move the cable to the middle section and it should reveal your HDD fine.
