Hi,
So i just tried to run my two 4gb ddr3 RAM through dual channel which was unsuccessful, resulting in a restart loop. But after resorting back to my original config my 2 TB Seagate HDD wont detect on my PC(neither in device manager nor in disk management)

I'm using Win 8.1 on my 120gb SSD and have a 500gb hdd as well. Both are working fine.
Also tried changing the sata (both power and data) cables and ports. Although the hdd seems to be running.

Tried it on my friends pc, seems to be running fine..
Please Help!

Possible solutions for New Ram Causing Infinite Boot Loop

Possible solutions for HDD Detection issue:

1. You may have to do simple BIOS reset so it detects all HDDs/storage devices at once.

2. On some motherboards, you need to access the BIOS to enable additional SATA ports to make them work. See if your motherboard has that option in/around the HDD Controller settings (where you set SATA, AHCI, IDE Mode).

3. Or you may have to install the Seagate HDD SATA drivers. The HDD may have to be detected before it's drivers can be installed from Windows... so you may have to temporarily switch BIOS settings to the IDE Mode/IDE Legacy setting in the HDD Controller setting... and after the HDD is detected, install the Seagate SATA drivers and after that switch the BIOS setting back to AHCI.

4. If the issue is still not solved up to this point, do another BIOS reset.
