seagate hdd not seen on usb

Hi all, I have a 2tb seagate I was using for storage on a usb docking station, the power supply went bad and fried the board on the hdd. I ordered a board and a new docking station online installed it and the drive came to life, "sort of", now windows computer management see's it as drive f and unallocated and will not let me do anything to it. I tried sea tools for dos and sea tools for windows, neither program see's the drive. any suggestions is appreciated.

Sounds like firmware has to be updated and same serial number used.
