seagate hdd randomly freezes for a short time! please help me!!!

i have a seagate HDD and i have this problem for along time and i still have it that sometimes my hdd freezes but i can still move the arrow and the hdd imakes this loading sound while it freezes!
this happens when i use my hdd for like when i install something or use winrar. please i cant take much more of this i need help!


and i even tried chkdsk and well ANYTHING!

Update the firmware of the drive - Seagate 7200.12 series is well known for this issue

test it with the seagate seatools .

no there is no new frimware for this damn hdd

ok i tried the Seagate 7200.12 but it told me FAILED so it did not worked.

the seatool report fail so back up all the needed data you will need a new drive .
