[SOLVED] Seagate HDD spins down and starts again ?

Two lines(thread title and thread's body), don't help much with regards to identifying/solving an issue. Might want to share the sound that you hear from said HDD. Also, might want to also share if you've tried he same HDD on donor system's to rule out any power issues.

You've not really stated a question.

Some drives will spin down as a result of power saving measures, often as entered within 'power plans/advanced power options', a user can specify in minutes how long before a drive might spin itself down...

Now if a drive spins itself down during usage, that's another matter, of course.

It would not be right for anyone to speculate which might apply to you, as you've given pretty much zero info.
