Seagate: High Spin Retry count, End to End Error rate Concern

I've been worried about the current threshold of my main hard drive Seagate (ST3250318aS - 250.0 GB)

with his current Attribute of

- Spin Retry count -
Current: 100
Worst: 100
Threshold: 97
Raw Values: All Zero's

- End to End Error Rate -
Current: 100
Worst: 100
Threshold: 99
Raw Values: All Zero's

while in other Attributes are in medium or normal threshold value from it's value to worst.
i've just learned that when the threshold value is equal or near equal or more than it's current value or worst it means hard drive is failing?! is that true?

Do you experience any issues with the drive?
Current and Worst values should not drop below the the threshold value. Both attributes are 100(the highest values) and the worst is 100, which means that both attributes haven't decreased by even 1. This is why I think that these two are just fine.
Apart from that, the HDD seems to have no bad sectors as well. Though, Read Error Rate and Seek Error Rate could indicate some problems. I would advise you to test the drive with a brand specific testing tool(short and extended test) and see what the results will show. If there is something wrong with the drive, you will need to back up the most important data that is stored on it.

Thank you for such effort in informing me about the harddrive itself...
i didn't have any problems since i installed it... and i'm just relying on my intuition that "the closer or higher attribute the worse"
apologies i wasn't well informed about HDD stuff attributes...

I'm glad that this clarified the things a bit.
It is always a good idea to test the drives from time to time. This way you will know when to back up your data and eventually get another drive.
