I bought this card initially to use as a external/start my home network but realized I didn't have the casing needed.

I decided to pop it in the back of my computer, bios sees it but windows does not. I have a ROG VII HERO MB
With an SSD and secondary SATA, why can't I get this thing to read?
My case is modular and I have tried different slots, as it doesn't use the traditional L shaped connectors.
Am I over thinking this>?

Can you see it in Device Manager > Disks ?
As it is over MBR limit it should be formatted as GPT and NTFS.

It looks like they did not show up, or it. I decided to replace my enclosed HDD with said drive to test USB and now neither drive is reading (UNLESS running trouble shoot/seeing errors.)
Showing as a path rather than a drive name \\\\\volume: etc
