seagate (portable storage 2tb) i bought wont registered?

so it brought me to their website right after i clicked the .exe and i followed all the steps -- i put serial number correctly and my personal info and clicked "register". It took so long that i had to wait 2-3 mins and i got notified at the end "product registration failed."

- any advice?
