Hi,
I've recently purchased 3 Seagate 3TB Desktop HDD (ST3000DM001) and all the drives arrived dead.
Two of them would spin up but won't show up in the system/BIOS and the third one doesn't spin up at all.
Since I used a freight forwarder to get these drives shipped from USA to Israel Amazon would not accept to return the drives so my best option now is to RMA the drives to Seagate.
I've tried filling an RMA request on seagate.com (the drives has warranty till Sept 2017) but at the end they asked me to ship the drives to UPS. The return address they provided me is:
UPS Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv, Israel
First of all, this address isn't complete and doesn't contain a street number or a zip code. Also, It doesn't make sense to ship the drives to UPS and not to seagate directly. Who will be responsible of shipping the drives to Seagate service center after they reach UPS Tel Aviv?
