Seagate SSHD 2TB - is it as fast as advertised?

Hey guys, I just have quick question, I can't even seem to find the answer for on Seagate's website. I got a 2TB SSHD, and it 'only' performs (187/162mb/s) read/write speeds.

It's advertised to be up to 6 times faster than a 7.200 RP/M HDD, and yes, I know, the SSD cache should take some time to kick in, to determine what I use the most, but really, I just wanted to know if this is way off, or? I mean, my brother got a traditional HDD going at a 250 MB/S read speed out of the box. Is it just me, or should I be worried? Thanks so much, guys. :)

Solution
What harddrive does he have that's hitting 250?

But to answer your question, your benchmarks are right up there where they need to be. The SSHD is not 6 times faster. It will just respond 6 times faster than an hdd if the data is cached (micro-seconds instead of milli-seconds)

It was a Toshiba 3TB 7.200 RP/M traditional HDD. It has slowed considerably since. Those speeds were ajour just when he fired it up, first boot. Those speeds actually were what he received in real world usage. If only lasted a few days, though. Thanks again for answering my question :)
