Hello everybody, Reacher01 from Italy here.
I need some guidance configuring this Seagate ST500LM000 hybrid SSHD I've found in a new laptop I bought.
Laptop came without a SO (FreeDos).
My main concern is that, installing Windows, I've deleted a partition of about 8Gb, thinking it was used by FreeDos.

Now I'm reading that it was the partition used for the Nand memory.
Is that correct? How do I restore the partition?

Thanks in advance for any answer.

No, your partitioning has nothing to do with the operation of the NAND part of the SSHD. For all practical purposes you can treat an SSHD exactly the same as you do a regular old HDD. The SSD part of the hybrid drive really just acts as a large cache which is used both as a write cache to speed up writes, as well as keeping a copy of frequently accessed sectors for faster reads. This operation is all handled internally by the SSHD's firmware and neither the user nor the OS has any control over it's operation. It all happens automatically, and it adjusts itself over time to speed up the things you do often.
