Question Seagate Toolkit issue

Hello,

In September 2020, I bought 2 SEAGATE Backup Plus 5TB Black USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives, for my 2 desktop computers (Acer Win 10 - 64 bit).

I activated Toolkit => selected the files => selected the backup frequency (weekly). The system did a first backup and then every week performed a backup without problems.

I never change any setting. Windows Backup and Norton Backup are not activated. The computers are not interconnected.

But suddenly, every day, when I start my computers (both), Toolkit starts a new backup. I checked the settings and they show a weekly schedule.

I contacted Seagate by email (no answer) and by phone: they said that they don't have idea and that never heard about this issue.

Any idea, tip or solution would be greatly appreciated!
 
Hello and thank you for your answer.

I just checked and I don't see anything under Seagate, Toolkit or file history. Is these anywhere else that I can search for it? (sorry I am not super computer savvy )
