I agree, but I'd also like to point out that many other message boards that enforce this policy strictly insouciantly become elitist. The forums are open for any registered users to post for a reason. While most other forums out there are very technical, the THG forums allow people who don't know a whole lot about hardware to find and browse information.

So I'd say use search if you want to save yourself time, and post if you feel like it.
