When I search for things such as "devices and printers" or "programs and features" in the windows search box, there are no results. This has occurred since the Windows 10 creators update. Before this update, I was able to search for anything from control panel in the Windows search box, and it would find what I was looking for.

Is there any way of getting the search to go through control panel items as of the creators update?

Solution
Open the Control Panel, not individual options within the Control Panel.

Win 10 is slowly moving away from the traditional Control Panel, into the Settings interface.

This is not working on my systems since creators update. AND they all are VERY slow/laggy since the update with zero cause showing in resource metering. Yes we've checked intrusions and viruses; nothing. No control Panel (or my to my point PROGRAMS and features). This is an extreme annoyance. I hope I find a back door. Command line commands anyone?

EDIT!: of course there is a back door in command line. found here: https://www.windows-commandline.com/control-panel-run-command/

Open Run window from Start menu. Alternatively, you can press the shortcut key combinations [Windows]+[R]
Type in control and press enter.
