Hi guys, so I have win 10 64 bit with 16 GB ram, I seem to have search (2) process in my task manager, is it safe? Plus, I'm getting like 18 percent ram usage while idle, is it normal? Tnx for any help offered :)

well...didn't help, first, the usage is ram usage not CPU
the icon is that of the windows search, and there's a leaf icon in the status bar, if im expending it the search name, i have runtime broker aswell

the leaf means its a suspended process. iits likely the ram usage is compressed, as process isn't active. if you hover mouse over the leaf it says as much.

how much you use at idle sort of depends on how many processes you have loading at startup or in background. MIne is about 19% with nothing running, and about 25% with a few things on desktop.

process explorer shows 2 Search processes
SearchIndexer - seems to be always running but only uses 28mb of ram
SearchUI - this one is always suspended unless you open the search window. this is the main UI for search and is also linked to Cortana
